Hundreds of plane enthusiasts gathered outside Manchester airport in the lovely sun to watch the brand new Dreamliner Boeing 787 plane land for the first time ever. Thomson airways gloated their badge on the side of the new $116 million dollar airliner in which they said the choice of which airport to land it at first was an obvious one claiming “Manchester is a very important airport and it felt right to bring the Dreamliner here”. Nissan Mistakes Cost Dearly
Nissan have been forced to recall 130,000 of their vehicles in Britain after there had been several complaints of the steering wheel just falling off in their hands. This will be the third time in 12 months that the Japanese car manufacture firm will have to recall their vehicles, the total damage to Nissan on a worldwide scale is having to recall a total 841,000 Micras a considerable amount that could seriously damage the business. Heathrow Closes Runway As Plane Arrives On Fire
A plane was seen by passers by flying towards the direction of Heathrow with a murky black trail behind the planes right hand side engine, this was filmed by an eyewitness said to be a local, it was also very apparent to the passengers who could visibly see the issue on board. The plane which was a British airways plane was originally heading for Oslo but detected technical difficulties during the flight and decided it would be best to turn back; it approached Heathrow soon after just taking off after many had seen what appeared to be the engine on fire. Car Rental With Points
Car rental with points on your licence can be confusing but here at Indigo we are going to try and make it easy for you. If after reading the below you still are unsure whether the points that may be on your licence will stop you from hiring a car then please call our reservation agents to get the full detailed answers at +44 (0)113 880 0748. There are many different rules and regulations in place deterring one fine/conviction from another.
Usually car hire companies can only take people who have 6 points or lower but its not as easy as that. There are things that are considered major convictions such as IN10 or DR10, these will see you banned from hiring a car from the date that you get your licence back and 5 years after that. However if you have a ticket for say speeding or going through a red light and received 3 points then you still will be able to hire as long as it doesn’t equate over 6 points.
We have another offer to throw in the mix as well, we can now announce that in certain locations we can take and hire to people who have 9 points or lower on their licence as long as they are considered as lower offences. This can be rather confusing and we do urge anyone to call us if you have points but to specifically call us if you have between 6 – 9 points as it’s rare in the car hire industry but we still might be able to help you get your hired car when no one else can. Convictions are usually 5 years from the date you get your licence back but there are also some exceptions that if you are unsure you should call us again.
