The Five Countries That Are Hardest For Travelers To Visit

There are countries all around the world that are more than happy to allow travelers into their borders for a few days or a few weeks at a time. Some countries even maintain agreements that allow citizens of friendly nations to visit without much paperwork. Some other countries, however, make the process of visiting very difficult. These countries sometimes turn away all but a handful of travellers every year for reasons that are not always clear. Five countries are notoriously difficult to visit.

Bhutan
Bhutan is filled with Buddhist temples, ancient sculptures and mist-covered mountains with breathtaking views. Although Bhutan changed the structure of the government a few years ago, it still remains a very difficult place to visit. Anyone who wants to see the rural areas of Bhutan or spend time exploring the culture in major cities can only enter the country with an official guide. Additionally, the country requires any visitors to pay for everything in advance before being allowed into the country. Some guides will allow visitors time to walk around large cities alone. Most will not.

Russia
Russia is full of attractions from hot springs to the unique architecture in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Russia is also the largest country in the world based on total land area. It is possible to see nearly every type of terrain within the country. Unfortunately, Russia is also a very tightly regulated country with strict paperwork requirements for travelers. Long visits require an invitation from the country or the help of an immigration lawyer to get the right documents. Officials in certain areas will check traveling papers regularly. This makes Russia difficult to visit for any length of time especially if the paperwork suddenly needs to be re-submitted for no apparent reason.

Eritrea
Eritrea has a long history that has left the country with a unique collection of different cultures all living together. This long history has also filled the country with an amazing amalgam of different architectural styles and monuments. Eritrea is not overly friendly to travelers. The country remains on guard at all times. Eritrea regularly denies requests for entry based on nothing at all or on unfounded suspicions. Additionally, it can take up to three months just to get a response to a request.

Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia contains historic villages, ancient religious monuments and large urban centers containing all of the latest technology. It is an interesting place to visit especially to see some of the desert scenery. Saudi Arabia is also a country of strict rules. The country denies permission to travelers regularly simply because there is no perceived benefit in allowing people visit. Women cannot enter the country unless a male family member is present. Travelers cannot do much to affect the process in Saudi Arabia. People who have pre-paid for a large vacation package in Saudi Arabia are more likely to be allowed into the country.

Angola
Angola has a distinctive culture and a large number of natural attractions like waterfalls and colorful red cliffs. The country is defensive about the borders mostly because unemployed people from the surrounding countries and even Europe attempt to come in to take advantage of the oil economy. Angola scrutinizes every application. Many are rejected for bureaucratic reasons. An immigration lawyer can often speed up the process or deal with problems very efficiently. Getting a response from officials can take months.

Passports, Augmented Reality

Most people now would of seen some form of augmented reality and its mind blowing, whip out your smartphone points it at a piece of paper and the picture comes to life. What’s new is when it comes to passports, Blippar an augmented reality smartphone app has developed a game that is made to entertain children when you point the app at a British passport, an odd idea but could it catch on? The airport is a boring place for anyone, with a company trying to invent a way of making it fun I don’t see why it wouldn’t take off, and everyone has to have their passports, it could become as popular as I spy it ticks all the boxes and has all the credentials!

When the child points the camera at the passport they will see the maroon cover turn into a 3D plane that takes off which they can then navigate and interact with. The idea the producers of Blippar have behind this app is that children often get hit by boredom and this app will hopefully ward that issue off.

As well as the plane taking off the app also teaches you common phrases used in Spanish, French, Italian and Croatian so wherever you are going chances are you can learn a little language before you set off for your holidays. Although chances are that this app will never really reach its full potential, it was released at the end of summer when everyone has come back from their holidays.

This wouldn’t be the first time Blippar have been successful if it hits the mainstream however, the app started in 2011 and recently just reached 3 million users and it can be downloaded on any iOS or Android device, will their idea for something fun take off or will it be a bit of a flop.

Eastbourne is probably most famous for it’s stunning beaches and crystal clear coastline. When visiting Eastbourne, this is most definitely the best place to start. If you are lucky and have sunshine and blue sky a day at the beach is a sure way to enjoy the weather. Even if you are unlucky and it is a tad grey and windy, you can wrap up warm with a hot chocolate and appreciate the views. Eastbourne has a whole lot more to offer than just the sand and sea however.

Eastbourne is close to the South Downs and is a wonderful starting point to adventure into the Sussex countryside, as well as the county’s coastline. There are many key features; The Victorian Pier, the three tier, palm tree lined promenade, 1930’s style bandstand, lovely waters and a marina. This is in addition to the natural beach which stretches for 5 miles. There is also lots more to see.

You could try an original Victorian Camera Obscura which is situated at the end of the pier. This will give you an amazing panoramic view of the beach and the sea. There are also many contemporary artworks you can admire in Towner where there is also a recently built visual arts centre.

Battle Abbey is also a must see attraction. As a landmarked site of the Battle of Hastings and Pevensey Castle, it rests on original fortifications built by William the Conquerer following the invasion in 1066. Herstmonceux castle is also an important pit stop; it is set in 550 acres of treasured green land with beautiful Elizabethan styled gardens.

Close to Eastbourne is the family friendly Drusillas’s Park which is home to many interesting animals such as pandas, lemurs, monkeys and iguanas. In addition, views from Beachy Head near the park allow visitors to see out across the English Channel.

Selling DVLA Personalized Registrations

Those persons who are willing to sell their personalized number plates contact a dealer or have a direct approach to a dealer to get a quote. Quotation lines are necessary to be for selling a cherished or personalized number plate. Some of the dealers offer nominated quotes line at a premium rate while some don’t.

Website of an organization named National Numbers has a facility for free instant number plate valuation. The organization has many years of experience (almost about 30 years), and it generates computerized quote based on the statics of their database records. The free valuation sometimes does not give satisfactory results, as it is a computer generated result. Some of the special words or names are not recognized by the system, so it may generate wrong results. National Numbers also provides an expert guidance for the number plates on 09057 570011. Using free instant valuation will ask for your registration number and your contact details and also you will receive an opportunity to retrieve the valuation which will be sent by National Numbers via e-mail. This will provide you with the facility of viewing your registration as well as adjusting the value of registration either up or down. After making final decision for selling your registration number, further process will be continued when you mail back to the authorized department for further procedures.

After this process, dealers will advertise your registration, of course after adding their commissions and the quote which you will receive is usually the money that is to be returned to you after finding a buyer. The buyers will pay all the necessary fees which includes DVLA fee, cost of replacement mark and other costs related to number plates. When a buyer is found, a deal is made along with written confirmation and you (i.e., the seller) will receive its notification.

After all these processes get completed, dealer will ask you for the following details:

• V5C registration certificate (logbook)
• Current MOT
• Photocopy of your current tax disc.
OR
• Your retention certificate. (a certificate that is issued if the vehicle does not have its tax records or it is not an insured vehicle)

The fund transactions should be clear between dealers and buyers before handing over the number plate. The seller will then receive the full details of transactions along with the payment.

After these processes have been carried out, the dealers should confirm the purchase in writing, with the buyers also. They ask for security deposits for the chosen number plate, with the necessary documentation. Usually the deposit amount is nearly around 10% but not more than that. This security deposit can be refunded back if in case the transaction does not proceed for the selected number plate.

All these processes are done by a trustful dealer and so it is necessary to allow the dealers to handle everything. Let the dealers organize everything- which a particular seller and buyer pay to them. Dealers should be allowed to handle each and every task related to DVLA number plates for sale.

Author’s Bio: Peter, a DVLA number plate dealer, tried to brief out the process that are involved with buying and selling of DVLA number plates. He is having a good experience in dealing with cherished number plates.

Top 10 Funniest Airport Names

There are several thousand airports all over the world so naturally there are bound to be some with ridiculous names. Sure enough there are some ridiculously named airports out there that won’t disappoint, from the weirdest named airports all the way to the plain silly here is the list of our top 10 funniest airport names.
#10 Useless Loop Airport
I’m not too sure how beneficial it would be to name your airport “useless”, I don’t think they are going about their marketing campaigns in the right way.

#9 Eek Airport
An airport located in Alaska you can’t resist having a little laugh at the name, Eek! I’m not sure why you would want to land or take off from an airport that is scared of you, maybe that’s why they only get 3750 passengers a year.

#8 Batman Airport
When I saw this name I thought immediately I want to go there, I half expected the planes to be high tech and armoured like tanks, after a slight bit of research this unfortunately wasn’t true. It’s just a normal airport with superhero name.

#7 Deadhorse Airport
Tesco, no… bad Tesco back off there isn’t actually a dead horse at this airport it’s just the name! But really who would name their airport dead horse it’s not exactly appealing.

#6 Moron Airport
That’s a good thing to do when someone arrives at the airport, insult them with the name! I don’t know about you but I would never fly to and from an airport that called me names every time.

#5 Pickle Lane Airport
Well there’s not really much to say about this one, the airport is named after a pickle…. Why? This is just downright silly.

#4 Mafia Airport
Keep your hands in your pockets, walk fast and don’t make eye contact. This airport is named after the Mafia, possibly the biggest and scariest criminal gang in history, nice.

#3 Butler Airport
Ok that doesn’t sound funny right? Here comes the immature side of me, the airport IATA code is BUM.

#2 Danger Bay Airport
It’s nice to know when a plane is landing that you are heading towards Danger Bay Airport, considering a lot of people are generally scared of planes anyway saying the airport is dangerous in its name is probably not the right choice of words.

#1 Gaylord Airport
Words can’t describe this airport, why? What would make you think that this name is a decent name for an airport, it’s as if they have named it after Ben Stiller from Meet The Fockers.

1.1 Million Motorists Chased Over Fines

The Bailiffs are back in town with a busy few weeks ahead of them, these bounty hunters have been set the ruthless task of hunting down the 1,132,776 motorists who haven’t paid their parking fines. The issue surrounding this however is parking tickets are attached to the car and not the person and when it comes for the bailiffs wanting money they don’t take no for an answer because that’s well what they are paid to do. The problem with them being attached to the car is people can sell, trade, scrap or do anything with their car and on top of that if you get a visit and you don’t believe you are due a fine you still have to pay a fair whack for the bailiff’s services.
