Lane Hoggers Face Fines

Careless drivers could face an on the spot fine of £100 Stephen Hammond road safety minister revealed yesterday. This will give the police more flexibility when it comes to dealing with minor careless driving offences like middle lane hogging or tailgating which previously had to go through the courts for anything to happen. As well as the cost for being caught carelessly driving other driving offences are also set to rise in fines such as not wearing a seatbelt or using a mobile phone which are going to equal the £100 fine for careless driving. The First Motorway Pub Set To Open

On the M40 junction 2 at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire the first ever motorway pub is set to open after the Government consider lifting alcohol sales at service stations. The pub is going to be a JD Wetherspoon’s pub which will be open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and able to serve alcohol from 8am to 1am the first of said to be many pubs that will be rolled out across service stations in the UK. Hundreds of plane enthusiasts gathered outside Manchester airport in the lovely sun to watch the brand new Dreamliner Boeing 787 plane land for the first time ever. Thomson airways gloated their badge on the side of the new $116 million dollar airliner in which they said the choice of which airport to land it at first was an obvious one claiming “Manchester is a very important airport and it felt right to bring the Dreamliner here”. Heathrow Closes Runway As Plane Arrives On Fire

British airwaysA plane was seen by passers by flying towards the direction of Heathrow with a murky black trail behind the planes right hand side engine, this was filmed by an eyewitness said to be a local, it was also very apparent to the passengers who could visibly see the issue on board. The plane which was a British airways plane was originally heading for Oslo but detected technical difficulties during the flight and decided it would be best to turn back; it approached Heathrow soon after just taking off after many had seen what appeared to be the engine on fire.
