The Guinness book of world records awaits for Mazda to enter, a grand total of six hundred and eighty three Mazda MX-5s joined together to form the longest parade of driving Mazda’s ever. Why? To beat the existing record of course which was four hundred and fifty nine Mazda’s, so in that regard they didn’t just beat it they destroyed the record. Allard Kalff a TV presenter well known in Dutch TV led the charge with the CEO of Mazda Motor Europe as his passenger who went on to receive the official certificate. (more…)

Let’s start with the price tag £62,650, a similar price to most other S class’s when they are released, this new luxurious Mercedes is now on the shelves for sale today. The car offers the choice first of all of three engines, the obvious diesel and petrol but also a hybrid petrol engine is available. This one’s for the petrol heads out there, the new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante bit of a mouthful if you ask me is the luxury car that Aston Martin have just unveiled. The first fully carbon fibre skinned Volante that the 100 year old history of Aston Martin has ever released. Some of the features are truly fantastic but for the price wow it should be, although I suppose it is a “luxury” car, as a loose term I would refer to it more as a speed demon technical term I know. The car boasts a price tag of £199,995 because the extra £5 to tip it over £200k was obviously a step too far. (more…)

Volkswagens Wolfsburg manufacture plant has seen a lot of golfs in the close to 40 year history of the model but this particular Golf marks a special occasion. Volkswagen have just announce that they have made their 30 millionth golf recently driven out of the plant. The extremely popular Golf has definitely written its name in the history books, several motoring enthusiasts are making their way to Germany to see the 30 millions Bluemotion TDI Golf unveiled. 857 oil changes, 30 drive belts, 150 points and spark plugs and 120 litres of transmission fluid later a 1966 Volvo is still running, well 1966 is a very good year after all. This isn’t the impressive part however the most impressing feature is that the car, originally bought for $4,150 (£2,650) is close to achieving the 3 million mile mark!
