Ryanair Keeps 1st Place For International Passengers

Ryanair the well-established low cost airline budget has been known as one of the big competitive airlines in the industry today partially due to it being one of the lowest cost airlines out there. Established in 1984 Ryanair has had serious growth from the tiny airline it once was Ryanair is now the hub of several airports worldwide and fly’s to hundreds of locations internationally and its always been one of the busiest international airliners and this was rewarded last year when Ryanair welcomed just shy of 80 million passengers for international flights which topped all other airliners and got crowned the biggest international airliner of the year, a long way to come for a 29 year old airline still considered the new kid on the block. More than half the amount of people driving the UK don’t perform regular tyre checks which can be a very serious matter. EasyJet wants Passenger Number Increase At Stansted

EasyJet and MAG (Manchester Airport Group) want to see passengers for the airliner double as they announce plans of a new long term growth framework. This will hopefully enable EasyJet to more than double their passenger amount at Stansted airport. EasyJet currently get 2.8 million passengers from Stansted a year and want to see this figure increase over the course of 5 years to 6 million passengers. MAG are looking to be making big improvements to the struggling Stansted with them only just taking over the airport in February this year. (more…)

France Air Traffic Controllers Strike

A strike by air traffic controllers in France has caused several of cancellations, originally the strike was meant to last for 3 days from Tuesday the 11th June to Thursday the 13th June but its not only going to last for two from the Tuesday to the Wednesday. An estimated 30 to 40% of flights have been cancelled to and from several French airports including Lyon, Nice, Marseille, Toulouse and Bordeaux. (more…)

The First Motorway Pub Set To Open

On the M40 junction 2 at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire the first ever motorway pub is set to open after the Government consider lifting alcohol sales at service stations. The pub is going to be a JD Wetherspoon’s pub which will be open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and able to serve alcohol from 8am to 1am the first of said to be many pubs that will be rolled out across service stations in the UK. Dreamliner Arrives At Manchester Airport

Hundreds of plane enthusiasts gathered outside Manchester airport in the lovely sun to watch the brand new Dreamliner Boeing 787 plane land for the first time ever. Thomson airways gloated their badge on the side of the new $116 million dollar airliner in which they said the choice of which airport to land it at first was an obvious one claiming “Manchester is a very important airport and it felt right to bring the Dreamliner here”.
