Taking out a policy like this will not remove your excess liability, you will still need to pay this if you were to damage the van or if it was stolen. This product is aimed at those hiring a van for non-commercial use. It does not cover vehicles being used for business purposes. The insurance excess that applies is as standard at £1500.00 with the option to reduce this to £500.00 by paying a small additional fee per day.
