Police Rush Passport To David Cameron

David Cameron has been hit by heavy criticism after his latest controversial stunt. The Prime Minister was set to go on a family holiday in Ibiza with his wife and their three children for a relaxing get away. This had already been criticised as the recent death of drummer Lee Rigby had sparked a scare many thought that at such a time the country needed the Prime Minister but David had a holiday in mind which could have easily been postponed.

David Cameron arrived at Gatwick airport ready to get on his flight to Ibiza but then realised that he had left his passport at 10 Downing Street, 30 miles away from the airport. He had little time before his flight was due to take off so he decided to make a controversial decision and get the police to rush to his house and get him his passport. The police force managed to locate his passport and give it to Cameron just in time for the flight to take off, very fortunate.

This of course has people outraged especially as there are several campaigns about wasting police time and any ordinary person can be fined for doing so. Getting police to deliver a passport to an airport because you have “forgotten it” is a waste of police time, if that was me or you there was no chance that our passport would be delivered to us via the police service and we would lose money that we paid for the flight and other expensive. This possible hiccup by Cameron has also been seen as a reminder to what happened last year when he also “forgot” his daughter in a Pub when he left; it seems our Prime Minister is a very forgetful person.

What are your opinions on this situation, should David Cameron be allowed to use the police to pick up his forgotten passport?
