Driving Experience
When it comes to hiring a vehicle you need to be eligible to drive. Most suppliers have different rules when it comes to age and driving experience. Usually you are required to have held a full driving license for at least 1 year to be able to hire. With some companies this is 3 years so always check before you decide to make a booking. However the experience you need can depend on your age and from which location you require a vehicle. For more information please see below.

I’m under 25, what experience do I need to hire a vehicle?
Generally when you are under the age of 25 most suppliers require you to have held your license for at least 2 years to be able to hire a vehicle. This is the same here at Indigo so if you are under 25 and are unsure of whether you will be eligible to hire a vehicle, then contact us directly to see if this is possible.
I’m over 25, what experience do I need to hire a vehicle?
If you are over the age of 25, we work with a couple of suppliers that only require you to have held your license for a minimum of 12 months. If you have held your license for this amount of time then contact us directly to find out the options available to you.
I’ve held my license for 12 months can I hire a vehicle?
Depending upon the location from which you are wanting to hire a vehicle and the age of the driver, we may be able to help if you have held your license for 12 months as we work with various suppliers.
