Sometimes it may occur that you need a hire vehicle as soon as possible, like if your car has broken down or if you need to get somewhere relatively quickly. Can I get a car for today?
It is possible to get a vehicle for the same day however this depends on the availability of vehicles at your selected location. If you need to hire a vehicle then we advise people to book in advance to ensure that a vehicle is available.
What notice do I have to give to hire a vehicle?
Generally we advise people to give at least 2 hours’ notice if you need to pick up a vehicle on the same day. This will give the supplier enough time to get the vehicle prepared for you and allows you enough time to gather the correct identification.
Is it better to pre-book or book on the day?
When hiring a vehicle it is best to pre-book as this guarantees that a vehicle will be available and generally means that the price is less, as prices tend to become higher the closer to the rental date it is when you book the vehicle.
Will there be vehicles available today?
We cannot always guarantee that a vehicle will be available if you book on the same day that you need to collect the vehicle. It is always better to pre-book a car hire to guarantee availability.
