The New Golf Design Vision GTI
The new “super quick” or rather the not so super slick golf has been released. The golf has year on year been a popular car winning several awards in its 39 years in the market. It’s known for its great outer design, next to perfect drive and overall just lovely car. It’s also a very common request for people wanting to hire a car; however the exclusive sneak peak of the next Golf GTI sees some changes to the typical golf design. This design vision GTI has been labelled as the “super quick” golf reaching 0-60 in 3.5 seconds! It can also soldier on to deliver a massive 190mph.
The car is set to be around the 70k price mark as it handles better than any supercar and is on par with a Ferrari with a 3 litre VR6 engine. The exterior is the biggest change however, the once family car that brought a smile to the face of many travellers looks mean, like really mean. The exterior has the look of a “boy racer” souped up golf but the interior begs to differ being covered in carbon fibre giving it a lightweight.
The interior is similar to that of a lightweight Porsche such as the Cayman R and GT3RS; the Golf Design Vision GTI is also predicted to have a motorsport version which will be a rather exciting concept. The name “design vision” puts the whole car into perspective, it’s just a vision insinuating that this is going to be one of the greatest Volkswagen vehicles to grace the street, although with the price tag I’ve got a feeling it won’t sell as many as its golf predecessor.
