The New S-Class Mercedes

Let’s start with the price tag £62,650, a similar price to most other S class’s when they are released, this new luxurious Mercedes is now on the shelves for sale today. The car offers the choice first of all of three engines, the obvious diesel and petrol but also a hybrid petrol engine is available. The new S class offers an increase of 9% power and 18% reduction in CO2 on its previous model, it also as is common place with S-Classes features brand new technology.

Whats new in the S Class?

– A full intelligent Light System. This is an odd one but a great concept, there isn’t a single light bulb on the interior or exterior of the car, how? It’s all LEDs, every light in the car is an LED they also at night reduce the intensity of brake lights and reduce the intensity of the lights whilst waiting in traffic or at traffic lights.

– Magic Body Control Suspension System. Costing an excess of £4,340 its linked to the road surface scan system it uses a stereo camera to scan the road 15 metres ahead it then uses the information of the road to calculate if any suspension changes need to be made in order to give the ride an increased amount of comfort

– Last of all a much larger radiator grill which basically gives the S class a sportier coupe design exterior with the lining of the roof also adding to the illusion of a sportier appearance.

There is a small rise from the cost of the previous S class and there are several improvements made on the new car which could massively increase safety, it also has several more options in terms of extras. The price is justified in this case down to all the new tech they have involved in the car.
