Why? To beat the existing record of course which was four hundred and fifty nine Mazda\u2019s, so in that regard they didn\u2019t just beat it they destroyed the record. Allard Kalff a TV presenter well known in Dutch TV led the charge with the CEO of Mazda Motor Europe as his passenger who went on to receive the official certificate. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The MX-5 also known as the best spelling two seater sports car in the world was a suitable choice of car to pick to break the record, partially due to their immense sales and that last year it underwent a large upgrade to the exterior and interior in order to give it a more sporty and aggressive appearance and basically so Mazda can once again tap into the sales they once had for the soon to be classic MX-5. The new version of the MX-5 boasts a new breaking system which is more controllable and an acceleration that is both smoother and faster.<\/p>\n<p>Could the MX-5 be a classic? According to a recent survey by classic car and motorcycle specialist insurance broker Footman James the prediction due to more than seven percent of classic vehicle owners predict the MX-5 could be a classic icon with the Audi TT and Bugatti Veyron falling just behind. What\u2019s your opinion is the MX-5 good enough and beautiful enough to become a classic car?
