Yes, in between 15th November and 15th March it is a legal requirement to have your car equipped with winter tyres<\/a>. Luckily, when you are hiring a car you do not need to worry about this as they are fit as standard and the cost will be included in the full cost of the hire. <\/p>\n

Is It A Legal Requirement To Have Snow Chains In Slovenia?<\/h2>\n

If you have winter tyres it is not a legal requirement to have snow chains as well, although they may be useful. However, if you have summer tyres you will always need to keep snow chains in the boot.
